Greetings from Granbury - 8 - 3
Wrap up
September 13th, 2004
When a local produce market displayed some trays of cyclaman plants, Pat just couldn't resist them. so ...
Weren't they desperately needed for some color in this bed?
When you get right down to it, this was probably the real reason for the project.
After the landscape was completed, we worked for days moving our shop furniture and tools out of the garage and into the new building.
And, look at all that space!
We had hoped to store our small trailer in the third bay, but that was a little optimistic. The big trash container, garden cart, lawn mower, and garden trash barrel will take too much space. Gee! I wish I had thought to take a picture of the garage before we moved all the shop/greenhouse stuff out of the garage, and especially before Owen rearranged things to that we could get one car in the garage. And there's a 9' long bookcase in front of the window that just won't fit in the house. It's full of books too!
Some of the neighbors said the building was attractive from the street, so I threw this one in. It was taken from the next door neighbor's front yard.
This project is nearly finished. The porch gables seemed to need something, so we installed some medallions.
Left: In addition to the medallion in the center, there's an indoor/outdoor wall clock on the right, and a thermometer on the left. We also have a weathervane for the roof. That will go up later.
Thanks for making the trip with us. Drop around for some more visits to Tylers' Home and Garden. Pages on the garden will be coming soon. A click on any of these pictures will take you to the beginning.
