Construction Begins

 By 8:30 AM, June 23rd, we had a double framing crew busy at work. Double crew? Yes, double! What happened was the job one of the crews was scheduled to do wasn't quite ready for them. So, rather than send the men home without any pay, the owner
of the company sent them to our house. Things happen pretty fast with that many men working together.
Left: Our wheelbarrow and garden cart stand ready for service. Some newly planted roses are shaded with a tent of shade cloth in the raised planter at the right.
Wall frames are constructed on the slab or on the ground.
