Some Parting Shots
George Washington Honored Here
Near the Piazza del Popolo is a street named for George Washington. Could it be because so many American tourists board their tour busses here? Doubtful. This street was likely named long before we began touring Italy in significant numbers.
The Way Out Of Town
It looks like an ancient aquaduct with stucco.
Where do their feet go?
Gertrude Meyer says these are the new Smart Brand by Mercedes-Benz.
They have been popular in Europe for some time, and now being marketed in Canada.
Arrivederci Roma
Next, we will visit Naples via a collection of the pictures taken by Gertrude Meyer when she and husband, Ernst visited there on a trip a few years ago.
