These are huge cranes that serve the port. Acres and acres of cars in the middle distance waiting to be transported to auto dealers in Rome and elsewhere. Civitavecchia is a major port for cruise ships in the Mediterranean Sea. We will now make the 51 mile trip to Rome to see some of the sights there.
