Venice Arrival Photos by Pat Tyler

San Giorgio Church
San Giorgio is the great landmark encountered when your ship cruises through
the lagoon on its way to the port of Venice. This campus is on its own island.
A vaporetto (water bus) approaches the floating shelter that serves
as the bus stop just off the Campo San Giorgio.
Marina MC approaches ms Rotterdam
Le Zitelle Church
Straight across the water from the famouse Piazza San Marco, this church dominates the coast of La Giudecca, the island that forms the outer bounds of the canal bearing its name.
A large Water Taxi Approaches.
Our cabin was on the port (left) side of the ship, so all the pictures of arrival in Venice were of scenes on the south, or seaward, side of the ship.
