Some hame asked why we wanted to go to see land's end at the tip of South America and Antarctica.
We will see some of Antarctica's outer islands. One visitor on a similar itinerary said
that it was like seeing the Florida Keys and thinking one had seen the United States.
However, this is an extremely scenic area.

The Ryndam carries over 1200 passengers, and that is far too many for shore excursions to these fragile islands.
