Street Scene in the Old City.

The large building in the center of the picture, previously described as a Minor Mosque,
is actually the terminus of the famous Orient Express that catered to the rich and famous prior to World War II.
This luxurous train traveled between Paris and Istanbul until 1977.
The railroad cars were collected and taken to Switzerland for restoration to their original opulance.
The train runs once again. This website gives more information.
Thanks to Robin Mackay of the U.K. for bringing this to my attention.
If you think a trip on the Orient Express is for you, this site may be of interest to you.
