This is Lucca Day 15: Monday, April 25, 2005 Guinigi Tower   Guinigi Tower This is the only remaining example of a home of Gothic nobility. This tree-topped tower is part of a palace that belongs to the prestigious merchant family, Guinigi. It is characterized by large rooms, and a second doorway for carriage access. It is located in one of the most characteristic medieval neighborhoods of the city. Graffiti, Lucca Style Below: Here's an interesting mix of roof lines with an umbrella pine tree.
