The Atlantic Ocean

We leave the town of Setúbal behind and climb into the nearby Arrabida Mountains.
This is a popular resort area where people like to build summer homes by the sea.

The road is closed by the filming of a movie.

So we turn our attention to the vegetation on the hillside.
This is mixed brush. Some of the plants are quite nice, but very oily and flamable.

The Film Crew

It is now 11:06 AM, and our tour guide has pursuaded them that we must be back at the ship by noon, so they stopped shooting to let us pass. We might guess at the kind of scene was planned for the red car on the truck. Out of sight around the curve ahead, a long line of vehicles waits for an opportunity to pass.
