Babies pile on mom to watch the world go by.

When you live around here, this is what you might see when you look out your kitchen window on a spring morning. By April 29, 2004 these babies were about ready to go out into the world on their own. They were raised in a nest at the base of this hollow tree. The opening into the tree is quite small, too small for a preditor to get in, much to the chagrin of a couple of neighborhood dogs.
