Theme decorating often festooned the dining room. The wait staff dresses in costumes to carry out the theme of the evening. This is how the dining room staff was dressed on January 16th 2002. They frequently assumed the role of photographer for us.

Filipino Lounge Staff
The lounges on Holland America ships are staffed with people from the Philippines.
And the dining rooms and cabins are served by Indonesian staff. These people changed costumes from time to time, and this is the way they were dressed January 18, 2002.
