Our Kelper guide explains about the only edible berries that grow in the islands. You wouldn't have a very good chance of survival if you were a castaway in the Falkland Islands unless you could do some fishing. Then your chances would improve immeasurably. These islands are subject to very high winds during storms.

Gypsy Cove

We had a few minutes to spare, so while we were in town we visited the Stanley Wool center where had-made woolens were on sale. We bought a soft woolen scarf.
