The Museum
A trip to the museum is a must for every visitor. They have amassed a collection of whaling memorabilia and souvineers from the 1982 Falkland war between Argentina and Great Britain. The Argentines heavily mined the area around Stanley. One doesn't dare get off known pathways in the countryside. The mined areas are fenced and posted, however.
