Interestingly,
it requires 4 tickets for the Sugar Loaf round trip.

We wondered why all those tickets were required, since everybody using the tram to go down must have purchased a ticket to get up there.

It seems, the concessionaire must prevent mountain climbers coming down the easy way free! Looking up at the mountain from the parking lot, we did see a group of climbers about 1/3 of the way up.

Gee, doesn't anybody who can climb that mountain deserve a free ride down?
