Argentina / Brazil
The Border
Day 6: Tuesday, January 9, 2002
Shoe Bath At Brazilean Border
The mat was filled with some kind of anti-bacterial solution to kill any contamination of foot & mouth disease we may have picked up in Argentina. This was the first experience of its kind we had encountered. We were again to step on similar cleaning mats at Port Stanley in the Falkland Islands, and Punta Arenas, Chile.
Pools At The Entrance Of Iguazu Falls National Park
Strangely, we had to leave our buses at the gateway and walk across a very large paved area past these pools and pass through turn stiles to reboard our buses again.
National Park Entrance Concession
We were'nt given time to use the restrooms or buy anything from the concessionaire.
Next, we arrive at the Iguazu Falls Hotel for lunch.
