4:49 PM — She's unmoored and pulling away from the dock.

It's quite an amazing spectacle to see a ship this size move sideways or turn around on a dime.

Remember the Big Red Boat?

Before Walt Disney Company built their own ships they cruised the Big Red Boat.
This is the Big Red Boat II, I wonder if they used this one too.
She couldn't compete with modern cruise ships.

5:25 PM. There's the last of São Miguel Island.

We'll be at sea tomorrow, then dock in Lisbon on Wednesday.
