We're off the coast of France at Villefranche (French Village).
The housing dessity testifies to the popularity of this section of the Mediterranean Coast.
The blue cast of the land suggests the name Côte D' Azur, th Blue Coast
This will be our only port to use the ship's tenders. And the wind is blowing a gale in the open water and along most of the coast. This is not where they planned to drop anchor, and we wonder how the captain found this quiet bay. Perhaps this map will provide the answer.
It was so quiet in this bay, there was hardly a ripple on the water.
