Trees lined the roadside near the city.

9:44 AM ~ Nearly an hour after leaving the terminal, we have reached the countryside.

We passed many, many yellow blooming fields. Some research has suggested the yellow flowers were of the canola (rape seed) plant. There is considerable controversy with regard to canola oil and the rape seed plant, which is part of the mustard family. Although considered toxic to humans by some, the oil from these plants has become so popular in our kitchens that the plant has become a cash crop in many parts of the world. It's easy to grow, to harvest, and insects won't eat it! So there are huge profits in growing this plant.

It's amazing what you learn when attempting to identify something in a picture!
There's also information out there that soy is toxic as well.
