We Leave Wushan Behind

15 minutes after leaving Wushan, those in underpowered boats have to get our and walk past these rapids. A walkway with stairs on each end, of course, and vendors are happily provided for their entertainment. If you make this worthwhile trip, just be sure to reserve space on a boat with power to get its load through the rapids. Most people go to China with a tour operator, make sure they will use the better accommodations, including small boats.
