The Children's Palace
These symbols of learning flank the doors of the main entrance.
This Childrens' Palace is one of several in Shanghai.
They are neighborhood-oriented places where the children
can go to learn the arts and science after school. Although, not free of charge, the palaces are relatively inexpensive for the children to attend. And anyone can go if they wish. It's not an elite school, reserved for the well-to-do or the highly talented.
This Tiny Garden Showcases Sculpture & Rock Shapes.
Mini-Recital of Classical Instruments
The young lady on the left plays a two-stringed erhu, and the boy on the right displays his skill with the Chinese flute.
