Farewell Dinner Party
A Little Sunshine For You!!
Those who were on the tour will grasp the meaning here. For those who weren't with us, this is the Chinese equivalent of the fortune cookie that used to be served as a little dessert at the end of each meal in the Chinese restaurants in the U.S.
Every meal we were served in China, with the possible exception of the farewell dinner, ended with watermelon sliced as the one in the picture is. We decided this was to be sure we had a little sunshine in each day. A nice thought.
Thank you for sharing your time with us to take this fantastic tour of China. If you have made it this far, you are truly intrepid! Please stay tuned for some pictures of our tour member and guides at some of the places we visited.
