The Imperial Garden Achieves Perfect Beauty.
It has all the necessary elements, which are:
rock, water, buildings, and, of course, plants.
Right: a woman appears to be waiting for someone. She enjoys the peonies while she waits. Peonies are the national flower of China. So, they are plentiful in the northern gardens.
Below: This is a detail of the stone mosaics that line the garden paths all over China.
