The Pfeiffer Homestead

"Going toward Southfork from Del Norte, You turn right on the Granger Road. I can’t remember how far you go toward the river. It sat on the left side of the road after you cross the railroad tracks. There was a white school house when Mom & Aunt Odie went to school. Aunt Velita and Uncle Curnie lived there when I was about 5 or 6. They had turned the school into a house! The old home burned down before I was born in ‘21. The house was pretty close to the river. So much history to remember, but a lot of beautiful memories."
